Update

Street Lighting Proposals as at December 2008
These now seem to be stalled at a consultation stage but any new development will be posted here

As both a cost and energy saving measure, Gloucestershire County Council has published proposals to switch off some street lighting at midnight.
The ideal would apply to every other light, but in the interests of road safety, lights at road or lane junctions would remain lit.

A large map showing all the lighting poles in the Parish with a colour key to each is on display on the PC noticeboard (near the old shop premises).
The Parish Council is ready to accept the new arrangements which are at the consultative stage, but there is still time for anyone to make alternative suggestions concerning individual lights.
