- Refuse will be collected from households on a fortnightly basis in a wheeled bin; this will replace the current weekly black sack collection. Wheeled bins will be provided. The change will be made from 2 July 2012.
- Weekly food waste collections are being introduced; collections will be made from the kerbside in a caddy which will be provided. Collections will start from 2 July 2012.
- The current fortnightly garden waste service will change to an opt-in charged for service, with collections continuing fortnightly. The charge will be £26.00 per bin and will be introduced from 2 April 2012.
- Household batteries will be accepted as part of the fortnightly recycling box collections.
